Project translations now managed using transifex.com

To improve the quality and amount of translation available for YAM we have decided to switch to the online services of transifex.com for allowing users to submit translations to our project. Previously users had to explicitly submit translations by committing the Amiga-style catalog translation files (.ct) to our source code repository. This required quite an amount of technical knowledge. Now with having switched to using the transifex.com online platform every YAM user can submit translations without having to have any knowledge about revision control systems or how to deal with flexcat, etc. more...

All mailing lists switched to Mailman

All YAM mailing lists have been switched to our own server using the 'Mailman' mailing list software. This should improve management of mailing lists as well as help users to better manage their subscription via the mailman.yam.ch web interface provided. Note, that we were able to convert all previous mailing list posts to the new service. Thus, you can access any previous mailing list post as you see fit. See mailman.yam.ch for more information...

New Discussion forum and FAQ online

We are proud to announce a new discussion forum and online FAQ system being finally online. While we were previously using other third-party applications for maintaining a discussion forum and FAQ system we now completely rely on trac and thus improve the user experience.
