YAM - Yet Another Mailer (#2) - unable to send message (#21) - Message List

Am attempting to send a message, quite some time after a technician made the system operable. Error message reads: unknown SMTP server ' mail

Any suggestions as to how to deal with this issue would be appreciated.

You can start YAM with the debug option "DEBUG" on the command-line to see all the TCP/IP traffic while you perform the action that triggers that error. Then you might get a better idea what is really happening.
