Too many line feeds
 solved

Hello Jens,

it seems that I'm not able to let you stay quiet!

I have found an undesired behaviour that seems to be related to another bug of TextEditor.mcc 15.12 class. I wrote a long message and saved it many times in various editing sessions. And at last I found a large number of line feeds added at the end of the message. A brief test showed that TextEditor.mcc adds a new line feed at the end of the edited file any time the file is saved.

This is a bug that already annoyed me very much when I used Outlook Express in the Windows 98 environment. :-(

So, please, don't say me that this is a new feature cloned by a M$ product! :-)

Cheers

Definitly not :) As a matter of fact I am still not sure wheter it is a bug in TextEditor.mcc or in YAM. However, I will investigate this behaviour and let you know ASAP.

Have a look and add comments if required.

I'm sorry, but I was unsure if this was a problem so serious to be a bugtracker matter, and missed the Mario "Padrino" Cattaneo report.

Anyway you know that I was taken by the bug/feature Hamletic doubt...

So, please, don't say me that this is a new feature cloned by a M$ product! :-)

Ah! This is what I really wanted to know...

    Cheers
