It would be nice to have a feature added to the "Max. age" in the folder configuration, that made it possible to move old mail to another folder (on a per-folder basis) instead of just deleting it.

This seems to be reasonable and in line with our plans of adding a mail archiving feature at some point. Thus, such a feature could move mails to the Archive folder similar to what is suggested here.
