The 'trunk' of a SVN repository is always meant to carry highly experimental code which is not meant to be used on normal productive systems. It may break your current installation and may destroy data stored on your harddisks. On the other hand, downgrading may cause the same effect. And, maybe you will have to update your configuration files and/or images files aswell, which are probably not directly available through SVN. Please be always aware of that when you want to compile YAM yourself. |
